Both are the same report on the competitors you name, collected and checked the same way. One is a single report you buy outright. The other is that report every month, on a subscription that is not open yet.
This is the whole price list. No tiers to compare, no quote to request, and no call.

What the GBP 25 report contains
Each competitor is tracked across seven fronts: pricing pages, hiring activity, product and service positioning, social presence, customer reviews, press coverage, and Companies House filings - accounts, registered charges and insolvency notices. Each capture is stored with its source and the date it was taken, so anything reported later can be traced back to where it came from.
The deliverable is a branded PDF, usually forty pages or so. It opens with an executive briefing covering every competitor you monitor, then a spotlight on each one, pricing and hiring analysis, a press and review digest, a side-by-side comparison, and a closing section of strategic signals and recommended actions. A methodology and data gaps section states plainly what we could not establish.
Up to 5 competitors is a ceiling, not a quota. Name fewer and the report covers fewer.
How paying works
Card checkout opens shortly. Until it does, a report is ordered by email: write to hello@getclearfield.co.uk with your company name, your website and the competitors you want watched, and we will reply with how to pay.
Those competitors are the ones the report covers, so they are worth getting right. If a detail was wrong, write in before the report is produced and say so.
When card checkout does open, one-off report payments will be taken through Stripe's hosted checkout, so card details are entered on Stripe's payment page and never touch this website.
The report is delivered by email within 3 working days of payment, at the address you ordered from.
Questions worth answering before you buy
- Can I subscribe today?
- No. Subscriptions are not open yet. The GBP 50 monthly plan - the same report every month, plus an interactive dashboard - opens later, and you can register your interest by email in the meantime.
- Do I need an account?
- No. There is nothing to sign up for and no account behind this site: a report is ordered and delivered by email. The site does carry a design preview of a future client portal, sign-in page included, but it is labelled as a mock-up and there is nothing live behind it. This website is a set of static pages - it sets no cookies, runs no analytics and tracks nothing about you.
- Where does the information come from?
- Public sources only - the competitors' own websites, the job listings they publish, review-site aggregates, press coverage, and the public registers at Companies House.
- What happens when something cannot be established?
- The report says so. Where something could not be collected, or a source was unavailable, or an answer is simply not public, that is stated rather than left as a silent blank, and it is part of the report worth reading as carefully as the rest.
- Is a report advice?
- No. A report is information to help you think, and nothing more than that - not professional advice, not legal advice and not financial advice. The terms set that out in full.
